Publication Ethics & Malpractice Statement
Originality of Articles:
Manuscripts submitted to Divyayatan – A Journal of Lakulish Yoga University must be original and not under consideration for publication in any other journal. Authors are required to disclose the laboratory, department, affiliation, or institute of origin of research, and specify the role of each author in the case of multiple authorship. A written declaration that the materials have not been submitted for publication elsewhere, either in part or in full, must accompany the submission. The journal will assess papers that have posted work on preprint servers prior to publication.
Ethical Clearance:
Clinical studies should adhere to the Proposed International Guidelines for Biomedical Research involving Human Subjects issued by CIOMS (Geneva 1982). Authors must provide statements about ethical clearance and obtaining participants’ informed consent. Evidence of ethical approval for the study, including the name of the approving institution and reference number, should be included in the Methods section. Authors failing to comply with ethical standards for both human and animal research will face manuscript rejection.
Conflict of Interest:
Authors and guest editors are required to disclose any financial relationships with sponsoring organizations and any interests that could influence the interpretation of study results. All potential conflicts of interest must be listed explicitly. If no competing interests exist, authors should state so. Failure to declare conflicts of interest may result in the following statement: "The authors of this study declined to declare any competing interests." Authors are encouraged to consider various scenarios related to financial and non-financial conflicts of interest.
Policy on Human and Animal Rights & Drug Names:
Manuscripts must include details of the study design, setting, participants, and materials involved. Specific attention should be given to scenarios involving the use of animals, human studies, and details about drugs and devices used in the study. For human studies, proof of written consent from subjects may be requested during submission.
Scientific Misconduct and Ethical Standards:
Scientific misconduct, including data fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism, is strictly prohibited. The journal reserves the right to report suspicions of research misconduct or breaches of publication ethics to the head of the sponsoring institution or funding body. The Editor-in-Chief will notify authors of the intention to report suspicions.

Article Retraction:
Articles may be retracted due to infringements of professional ethical codes, including multiple submission, bogus claims of authorship, plagiarism, or fraudulent use of data. The journal will not be directly involved in investigations but will follow COPE guidelines for ethical concerns, including authorship disputes, plagiarism complaints, concurrent publication, research errors, and fraud.
