Publication Ethics & Malpractice Statement

Originality of Articles

Manuscripts submitted to Divyayatan – A Journal of Lakulish Yoga University must be original and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Authors are required to disclose the laboratory, department, affiliation, or institute of origin of the research and clearly specify the role of each author in cases of multiple authorship.

A written declaration confirming that the manuscript has not been submitted for publication elsewhere, either in part or in full, must accompany the submission. The journal will consider manuscripts that have been previously posted on recognized preprint servers prior to formal publication.

Ethical Clearance

Clinical studies must adhere to the Proposed International Guidelines for Biomedical Research involving Human Subjects issued by CIOMS (Geneva, 1982). Authors must provide statements confirming ethical clearance and informed consent from participants.

Details of ethical approval, including the name of the approving institution and reference number, should be included in the Methods section. Manuscripts that fail to meet ethical standards for human or animal research will be rejected.

Conflict of Interest

Authors and guest editors must disclose any financial or non-financial relationships with sponsoring organizations or entities that could influence the interpretation of research findings. All potential conflicts of interest should be explicitly declared.

If no competing interests exist, authors should clearly state this. Failure to disclose conflicts may result in the inclusion of the statement: β€œThe authors of this study declined to declare any competing interests.”

Policy on Human & Animal Rights and Drug Names

Manuscripts must clearly describe the study design, setting, participants, and materials used. Special attention should be given to studies involving human subjects, animals, drugs, or medical devices.

For human studies, proof of written informed consent may be requested during the submission or review process.

Scientific Misconduct & Ethical Standards

Scientific misconduct, including data fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism, is strictly prohibited. The journal reserves the right to report suspected research misconduct or breaches of publication ethics to the head of the sponsoring institution or funding agency.

The Editor-in-Chief will notify authors before reporting any such concerns.

Divyayatan employs DrillBit Plagiarism Detection Software (India) and follows COPE recommendations for addressing ethical issues.

Article Retraction

Articles may be retracted for violations of professional ethical standards, including multiple submissions, false claims of authorship, plagiarism, or fraudulent use of data.

While the journal does not directly conduct investigations, it follows COPE guidelines for handling ethical concerns such as authorship disputes, plagiarism complaints, concurrent publication, research errors, and fraud.
